Snow fun filled card with white painted wreath

Brown Wreath painted white from Michaels Craft store

Snow fun card with Michaels wooden words, Snowflake embellishments, Bling and Grey ribbon. Also used a stamp fro the side of the card. I made similar card and mailed to Marilyn Honicke (Card-Making Swap a Card a month FB Group) who lives in South Africa. I put Snow wording on hers. This was not part of a swap challenge.
We did this just because and sent a few other items, even in the midst of the Postal Strike in Africa.
I believe she still has not received my box card. A bit
scared to ask. That card was intimidating to say the least.

The love of cardmaking...Past card that I have made

Hello everyone!!!
I do hope I find you this day enjoying life and looking back on what this day means to most. This is a day for most that allows the mind to reflect and relax that there was a speaker among most that rallied for human kindness and peace towards equality. Nothing this deep happens over night. But while this continues to come into our minds, let's make some cards and be happy(in my Pharell Williams voice).

AKA Themed Happy Birthday card

 Thank you card

Happy Birthday with Teal ribbon from Hobby Lobby and flat back pearls (Front and inside)

Stampin Up card set. I added the flat back pearl to the card and cut out a slim
piece of cardstock to add more flavor

By the way I am still uploading my projects. This is totally fun.

Rules of posting on Blogs

I would like to know if there is a cardinal rule to blogging. I ask only because it seems as I have been blogging my buttocks off the past day. I am only posting to play the catch up game because I have been designing and there was nothing on my blog to reflect the latest additions to my world of creativity.
So out of curiosity, is there a rule to this Blog world?

There are so many exciting things occurring this day that I want to share and more posts to show my work. But I will hold off until Monday-day off from work.

Until my next post...

Altered Cigar Box into Memory Box

Found the monthly Kit to satisfy the crafting urge...don't judge, appreciate the energy, lol

Yay, I just joined the Clique Kits Monthly Subscription!!!
I can't wait to see what I create with the products. Finally made the leap.  I love the connection of folks and how open they are to meeting and just having fun without limiting their base of friends in this line of the craftworld.

EricaRose Creates: www.cliquekits.com and find her on Facebook.

My first crack at actually doing a card with my Cricut Expression II. I can count on one hand how many times I have used this. However, I am not longer scared of it. I am confident enough to try new projects with it.

I did this at our local scrap store Scrappy Chic (link at bottom) It was a trial.

Blogs Blogs Blogs Blogs...Promote outside and within yourselves.

So as I woke up this morning the only thing I could think of on my to do list was to continue to connect with other bloggers and learn more of my craft. I ran across Clique Kits as I always have and could not pass up reviewing their Monthly Kit. I read the review for January and watched the YouTube video on Nadine's Mixed Plate and was immediately sold.

I must admit as much as I love a good deal and hoarder or craft supplies I still am apprehensive of my purchases of monthly kits. Are they worth it? Will I get more bang for my buck? There are so many Monthly kits, but who provides quality and exciting pieces to put a puzzle together?
But at the same time. Clique Kits were always wonderful to look at and see the next awesome kit. But I could not bring myself to spend that extra money.

But all this questioning of my decisions was occurring when I was part of a savings club. This turned out to be 300.00 per month. This was each pay that I paid out 150.00 twice a month. Setting the record straight- MY CHOICE. I could have lowered my portion to 75.00 each pay. But let me tell you it was well worth it twice a year. Now I wonder if I could have bought another car. But who wants to pay high cost of car insurance. Not in my state, no matter my residence(sigh) I miss my Impala.

Anywoo......

Do the math Ladies and Gents.

That is why my previous post upload should be an ease to do with this 52 week saving challenge. Not accustomed to extra money sitting around...lol

So below I have included the links to Clique Kits so you can check it out as well.

Hey while I am at it, lets' just add Pink Bow Ties as well for those looking for newer Stamps to dive into. As well as Glittered Roses.  I am great at promoting someone else. I never look at it as if I should be focused on my goals.
These additional links are the wonderful crafty geniuses that are fun to follow on FaceBook and their blogs. Naturally I can't list all the beautiful folks.

Also check out The Scrap Soiree. I don't see a blog, But I guess I can just message her...duh. This is her Facebook page located in MI.

My Lord has embedded this service within me. How do I cut it off? I don't it is what it is. Whether it is returned or not, it does not harm me. It keeps me going to make sure people I know get to their goals and destiny. As I type this I am tearing up....why you ask??? Well I don't know my darn self....lol Okay that's over. whew getting too serious now. Moving on.

Let's make this a wonder creative world...I mean really. How many people have the same creative thoughts?....NO ONE DOES, so in saying this.

 Promote and grow within yourselves.

Whose retiring, huh huh???

Retirement card designed for a co-worker that retired some time ago.
This was outside the comfort zone of traditional cards before I dived into the other designs.

Naval Congrats card for a friend

I designed this for a co-worker who got a promotion.
The colors represent his service in the Navy.

Thank you card

I made this for my co-workers from my previous department.

2014 Tussey Mussey Shabbylicious Challenge with Lele

Plenty of lace(Hobby Lobby) and miniature flowers decorated on an oil spout. Who knew, right? Went to my local auto parts store and began using my hot glue gun and satin flower as an added touch.

The challenge was to decorate and post photos by a certain time.

Visit her page for lace: Lele Line Cathrin Ekseth on Facebook. She also has a zibbet store. www.zibbet.com/lineca

Lace book beginnings

3 pages of my Lace book that I worked on. Princess paper from a Scrapdaworld (Tmika Miller) purchase. Along with beautiful lace and ribbon from Hobby Lobby. I also used stuffing fibers and the fabric for extra cushion.

Happy Birthday

A beautiful light blue lace and ribbon birthday card for a special someone. I made this along with a second card because I could not come to a final decision on which one to sell to a coworker and friend.
That is one of the hardest task as a designer, making the final decision on a finished project.
