Getting it done and making strides int he right direction

Well today is getting better and better. I heard some news that has been looming in the air since I was a teen. Unfortunately, that is all I can mention...whew. I feel better just to day this tidbit without spilling beans.

Then to add to this, I maybe getting a much needed upgrade to bringing more attention to my desire for creating beautiful paper crafts and altered projects from scratch. The question is where do I see myself? Even more where do I go from here and how to make it pop? I would love to have my own branding with a logo. Only if I can create my own and create stamps, scrapbook paper. I have a load of ideas for cardstock designs.

Below are a few card projects I worked on last evening.
The first one was for a coworkers friends who is dealing with health issues and they are preparing themselves for the inevitable. Just hope all goes well to allow more time for the families to handle situation. Even though it is not in their hands. But don't we all wish we could help make it go away?

The second set of cards are would you believe 3x3 cards for a card swap group I am a part of this month for a Summer theme: How ya like?

Famous Fudge maker based in Mackinaw Island. I was tempted to take the plunged and chose the right path. It was hard let me tell ya'

Hyundai had a great activyt of Gran Tourismo for all ages to enjoy. Look at them so serious.
It is not a game!!!  lol

MY DREAM VEHICLE INTRODUCING THE INFAMOUS
VOLVO XC90 ALL WHITE WITH TAN INTERIOR

Yup, that's me sitting on a Harley. Minutes before this photo, I was actually on a Harley revvin' it up. it was totally awesome and intimidating at the same time. After the third gear shift I had to let up. I am so used to my Susuki Katana that I was a bit scurred of this machine. Clearly Harley is another mountain for me to climb. There are plenty of Harleys out there that are affordable used, and I know the right mechanics to keep it up to par. But on the road...smh. I am truly a crotch rocket girl. So when I do grow up this will be my motorcycle choice.

Stamped and approved.  A moment I wish my daughter was there to enjoy. Life of a college student. Naturally she is having her fun without us...sigh

To all this was my INSPIRED DAY!!!

Easter Easel card I made for swap with Jane P from

Tri color card made for Marilyn Honicke as a friendly swap. We decided on a color to roll with and have fun. She sent a similar one as well. She sent the measurements and I ran with it. Mind you I am not good at measuring, so I have always even in typing class back, back, waaaay back in high school and college just measured by sight.

2014 Valentine Muffin Swap with Kim Nau (RJ Avery as the host) February 9, 2014

Just noticed the date of the video upload from 2014. This was one year on the day after my grandmother passed away. Wow! As you look back on life and how far we have come, it still amazes me that my passion for creativity is still in me. I may have my weak days and blah days. But let me tell ya, I still got it!!! I definitely sounded nervous here. Let's see if I can step it up this year. Still trying to decide if I should change cameras or just get a Tripod or connect with Armand who sells the camera/flip holder.

I purchased this from RJ Avery (Thriftycraftermale)in a stash sell he conducted last year.

Snow fun filled card with white painted wreath

Brown Wreath painted white from Michaels Craft store

Snow fun card with Michaels wooden words, Snowflake embellishments, Bling and Grey ribbon. Also used a stamp fro the side of the card. I made similar card and mailed to Marilyn Honicke (Card-Making Swap a Card a month FB Group) who lives in South Africa. I put Snow wording on hers. This was not part of a swap challenge.
We did this just because and sent a few other items, even in the midst of the Postal Strike in Africa.
I believe she still has not received my box card. A bit
scared to ask. That card was intimidating to say the least.
